All the teaching assistants in Paris came together today for an orientation welcome meeting thing.  Not much to say here except that a few things I wondered about were cleared up.  The session was held in Lycée Louis le Grande which is like the oldest and most famous high school in Paris I think.  Oh my god, Derrida went there for goodness sake!  I actually walked the same footsteps as Derrida..! That was pretty surreal. Afterwords, I and a few lovely assistants I met all went for lunch.. twas good to meet more people! Wierd hearing so many different experiences when we’re all doing such a similar thing.
